Online bookings are made through HotDoc, a third-party provider. When you use that service, you are also subject to HotDoc’s own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control.

A booking is not confirmed until you receive confirmation. We may need to reschedule due to clinical urgency or practitioner availability, and will contact you as early as reasonably possible. Some appointment types may require you to telephone the practice.

Please give as much notice as possible if you cannot attend, so the appointment can be offered to another patient.

The Southern Clinic is a mixed billing practice. Fees vary according to the length and complexity of the consultation, the practitioner and the service provided. Payment is required at the time of consultation unless otherwise arranged. Current fees are available at reception.

Repeat prescriptions and referrals generally require a consultation. We do not issue them by email. Results are not provided by email or telephone unless a practitioner has specifically arranged otherwise.

Email and online forms are not secure and are not suitable for urgent matters or clinical information. For an urgent medical concern, telephone the practice. In an emergency, call 000. We do not monitor email or website enquiries outside business hours.

All website content — text, images, logos, layout and design — is owned by The Southern Clinic or used with permission and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, adapt or distribute it without our written permission.

This website links to and embeds third-party content, including HotDoc and Google Maps. We provide these for convenience. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the website or its security; attempt unauthorized access; transmit malicious code; use automated systems to extract content without permission; impersonate another person; or post unlawful, defamatory, harassing or offensive material.

We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.

To the extent permitted by law, The Southern Clinic is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of resupply.

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
